He was not an Israelite. Yet he was an Israelite. When others failed he would not. He followed faithfully, wholly, fully. He never lowered his standards.

A consecrated man, totally devoted to God, always courageous. He will be remembered through time for his dangerous missions.

He never thought in terms of fences or walled cities or mountains. Through autumn winds and premonitions of snow, against threats of stoning and mediocrity, he brought forth fruit in his old age.

Of him it can truly be said:
"At long last a worthy recompense came to this noble man for “to patient faith the prize is sure.”

Mmmmm it's not lottery....from Numbers 13-14 the Bible talks about the spies that were sent out...Caleb was an overcomer, spoke positively about possessing the land. He was courageous in overcoming the giants. it also talks about him following faithfully and fully. Also Joshua 14 talks about his strength (12-13) and Joshua blessing him.....

But wasn't Caleb an Israelite?

Caleb was a foreigner by birth. His father, Jephunneh is described as the Kenezite and these were outside the pale of the chosen people and thus Caleb was not of Israelitish birth or descent. He was of an alien people. Smith's Dictionary admirably speaks of Caleb as "one of the first fruits of the gentile harvest of which Jethro, Rahab, Ruth, Namaan and many others were samples and sign"
Yet this man, a stranger to Israel by birth became one of Israel's most illustrious ornaments. In spirit and service he was "an Israelite indeed" He broke his invidious bar. He was an ideal Israelite in character

I believe it is Moses,the great man of God,who was born in Egypt yet he was an Israelite by blood.This is the same Man who delivered the people of Israel from Egypt.Throughout the journey of Israelite to the promise He never fails God.He was obedient and followed what God said.Read from Exodus about it and go on with scriptures.

When you read the book of Exodus it tells how Moses obeyed and leads the Israelites out of Egypt through the wilderness to Mount Senai,where God reveals Himself.
Exodus 14.Pharaoh summoned Moses and tell Him to leave Egypt and That was exactly what God
Said it will happen.
Exodus 14 vrs 11 - 14 when children of Israel complained none of their words never shook Moses instead He said unto them ...Fear not for the Egyptians u see today you will see them no more.
Exodus 33 vrs 12-17 Moses praying for the people of Israel.
Vrs 21-23 How God protected Moses
