LOSING, SACRIFICING, SUFFERING AND DYING

I am being blessed with this book by our Bishop

This section really ministered to me.....I quote

Your ministry is limited by what you keep. If you carry certain things while you run, you will not run fast enough. God is expecting us to leave things behind and follow Him. We may have to leave our sleep, friendship, our televisions, our careers and our jobs to follow Jesus...(BDHM)

Bishop said in the book you cannot follow Jesus unless you are ready to lose something.....eish!!!

It's not easy, but with God all things are possible! May we lose that we may gain Christ. This has just reminded me of GAINING BY TRADING. May I trade what I have so as to gain Christ. Oh my, as I read the book I am being encouraged and feel so strong. Just to encourage us all to read this book. May we be zealously affected always (ZAA)

I pray for grace upon my life

Another excerpt from the book....
“There are two ways to lose the things God wants you to give up. You can either give them up voluntarily or they can be taken away from you.
I promise you that giving something is very different from having it taken from you. One is a sacrifice and the other is not. Both end with a loss to you.
Dear friend, be it known unto you that he who keeps his life will lose it and he who loses his life for Christ’s sake will find it. These are the irrevocable words of our Saviour.
He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 10:39”

Indeed Lord help us to give it before its taken away. Grant us wisdom to see ahead.
