| How much do we feed the inner man? this has been on my heart for a while. it is true indeed when the Bible say that though our outward man perish, the inner man is being renewed day by day. as we fellowship with God daily by reading His word, praying, listening to preaching messages and reading christian literature especially by our own dear Bishop Dag, i know that you are feeding that real you and growing spiritually. let not the real you, the soul be a skeleton...feed him / her daily. plse do not starve him. lets not take all our time clothing / polishing our bodies (its important and good to look nice, but let it not consume you) and forgeting to feed our soul. our bodies (these are just rented apartments by the way) perish but not the soul. make sure you have a book that you are reading, a message you are listening to and most importantly fellowshiping with God. work out your own salvation with trembling and fear. i pray that this will ebcourage and stir us to spend more time with God. | |

| Man is a spirit, the reason GOD wants us to nurture and develop our spirit is that It's only through our spirit that we can make contact with Him.GOD doesn't appeal to our human mind or senses, for the mind limits GOD. Instead,He communicates and leads us through our spirit.Bible says that the spirit of a man is the candle of the LORD (prov 20:27).The light of GOD is not in our mind but in our spirit. Our spirit is where the Word of GOD illuminates(psalm 18:28).Jack let's feed the inn man and spend more time with Him.Be blessed and have a good day. | |

| The inner man is the true you. He is like God. He: is a spirit is concealed is a creator, inventor, originator never dies is eternal powerful is the part of you that becomes born again hates the world when born again
COLOSSIANS 3 1 Since you were brought back to life with Christ, focus on the things that are above-where Christ holds the highest position. 2 Keep your mind on things above, not on worldly things. 3 You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 Christ is your life. When he appears, then you, too, will appear with him in glory. 5 Therefore, put to death whatever is worldly in you: your sexual sin, perversion, passion, lust, and greed (which is the same thing as worshiping wealth). 6 It is because of these sins that God's anger comes on those who refuse to obey him. 7 You used to live that kind of sinful life. 8 Also get rid of your anger, hot tempers, hatred, cursing, obscene language, and all similar sins. 9 Don't lie to each other. You've gotten rid of the person you used to be and the life you used to live, 10 and you've become a new person. This new person is continually renewed in knowledge to be like its Creator. | |
