What is a friend? Do we have to trust them or invest carefully help me Lord.

Pastor I was moved by your preach today about those who pretend but sometimes we don't know whether they are the true friend or not,and sometimes with friends you wouldn't know that they are good ones until you have been betrayed. Hahaha help us lord.

Pastor clearly stated that we need wisdom in choosing our friends, we shouldn't let them choose us. Jesus prayed for the 12 disciples and still picked a betrayer, so we are definitely going to come across friends who betray us. We need to understand that in applying wisdom we will minimize the chances.

The scripture says in Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence ; for out of it are the issues of life. So take your time to know someone before you can trust them with anything.

I believe that we also need to look within ourselves before we can begin to expect to receive good treatment from others. Can we be trusted, do we treat others well, can we enrich the lives of our friends. Do we love others as we do ourselves. I believe if we are truthful we will work on ourselves and change because charity begins at home.

Yes we have pretenders in our midst, but who are they, us or others?

a friend is some you should be able to trust no matter what but for me the best friend to have is jesus he never fails does not let you down you can tell him your inner secrets and he will not tell anyone if the lord as another friend for me i will let god choose amen
