| In the last days, God is giving pastors who will feed us with knowledge and understanding. Receive the knowledge and understanding that God is giving you. And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3:15 God will also use men of God to give you instructions for your life. These instructions help you to become a better person. There are times your pastor will give a commandment to fast and pray. It is important to follow these instructions. The Bible teaches that we should obey those that have spiritual authority over us. Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls… Hebrews 13:17 Listen to the voice of your shepherd. God has delegated the destiny of the sheep to the shepherd. God will bless your life and lead you through the voice of your shepherd. Jesus is the overall shepherd and He told Peter to look after the sheep. That means that He was delegating the care of His sheep to under-shepherds. ...Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me?...Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.John 21:17 The Voice of the Shepherd Since the shepherd speaks the Word of God, the voice of the shepherd contains the light, the understanding and the wisdom that you need. If you are a sheep, God will lead you through your shepherd. Once you become sheep-like you can expect to receive direction from your shepherd. “My sheep know my voice and they follow me.” Your shepherd will explain the Bible to you. Through the words of the shepherd, the Bible will come alive in your life. One of the surest ways God can direct you is through the person who acts as your shepherd. This shepherd is your pastor. Be very careful with the words of your pastor. They are the anointed words of a shepherd to the sheep. They contain all the guidance that the sheep needs. | I pray that shepherds of Southend will hear the voice of Jesus as they read these precious words shared by Noma. God has not made these arrangements to promote the shepherd but that the sheep through the shepherd will arrive at his pre-destined destination.
These are the arrangements for a prosperous and fruitful church, where there is the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.
Let us not be instruments of distraction and destruction for the church. Let your love for the church supercede any other personal feelings you have towards another. Let us conduct ourselves as befitting not only God's children, but as those entrusted with responsibility to show others the way. Let us watch those ever ready tendency to question and reject. Those tendencies to analyse and point. Please stop believing you are ok and you know it.
1 Corinthians 13:9 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part
The bible says, the most ignorant person is the one who thinks and behaves as if he/she knows and has knowledge. It says you are just puffed up. In other words you are proud but full of air. FORGIVE!
1 Corinthians 8:2 Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. 2 If someone thinks he knows something, he does not yet know to the degree that he needs to know.
1 Corinthians 8:2 2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
There is unease in my heart because I do not feel that all at the table are at Godly peace and committed to genuining building this church. Even if one person refuses to tow the line, this person will become the avenue for great trouble for the churches success. Let us close ranks, become air tight and stop toying with the church. God is watching, he will hold everybody accountable for every act in this church.
Let us be like children before the word of God. Humility, humility, humility.
