What is your life????

Labouring for the flesh....vanity of vanities....Prov 23v4-5 says, dont wear yourself out trying to get rich: restrain yourself. Riches disappear in the blink of an eye: wealth sprouts wings and flies off into the wild blue yonder. (The Message Bible)
What is your life?...the whole duty of man is found in Eccl 12v13.

I listened to Steve Jobs the founder of Apple in a speech he gave to students at Stanford University. I was very surprised and thrilled to hear him tell them that they have only one life, they must be passionate and give themselves wholly to what they have decided to do and above all " to live everyday as if it was their last day on earth. He advised the students to ask themselves, that since they would die the next day, had their activities or work or behaviour for the day been valuable or serious or contributing or impacting enough for somebody who would die the next day.

Bishop has been saying this same thing for a while. My dearest shepherds, our lives compared to eternity is very very short. You have a very limited time to affect the lives of others with your value.

James 4:14"
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.


Let us be wise and make choices that are important and spend our lives in a way that will guarantee us true freedom when we die. As for Pharaoh, he will hardly let you go. He will make you work until you have become an invalid and he will give you a disability allowance to let you know how unwise you have been.
